SARAH FINGARSON’S WORK LIVES IN STILLNESS, FEELING, AND THE QUIET PULL OF EMOTIONAL CONNECTION.

Person walking barefoot in shallow water wearing jeans and a beige top.
A woman in a wedding dress walking on a path surrounded by trees, holding the train of her dress.

She photographs love as it is: beautiful, honest and deeply human.

Drawn to light, movement, and emotion, she pays attention to what most overlook in between, the breath before the kiss, the hush after laughter. Her images aren’t built for trends; they’re shaped by presence, trust, and time.

Every story is approached with care.
What she captures isn’t just a record, it’s a return to a moment.

A feeling. A version of you, held gently in the frame.

She gave us something still, in our day that moved too fast.

the artist

I’m Sarah - a photographer and artist based
in the Pacific Northwest.

Before photography, I worked as a learning consultant at Boeing, a role that shaped how I see the world and what I value most: safety, quality of life, and the understanding that time is fleeting. That perspective stays with me. It’s why I believe in preserving what matters deeply, not just for today, but for decades to come.

Photography became my way of honoring life’s most meaningful moments. Since 2018, I’ve documented weddings and love stories across Washington, California, New York, and Europe, always with the same intention to create images that carry emotion, weight, and lasting value.

A CONNECTION

That’s Human

A couple gets married outdoors on a rocky shoreline at sunset, with a lighthouse in the background.

I approach wedding photography as a crafted experience-for those who value emotional clarity, timeless style, and connection. From the moment someone says hello to when they hold their final album, every step is thoughtful, unhurried, and tailored to who you are.

On the day itself, I blend in with a steady presence: offering light guidance, capturing fleeting emotion, and never distracting from the day’s intent. With film and digital tools, I build a curated gallery that speaks to how the day felt honest, intimate, and lasting.

THE LENS

Beyond

A person sitting among low plants and grass, wearing ripped jeans and a long-sleeved shirt, with their face not visible.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me embracing my love of travel, adventure, and human connection. Whether it’s sailing the open water, exploring new cities for inspiration, or diving into a good book, I am fueled by a deep passion for growth and learning.

This curiosity and zest for life shapes how I approach photography -always with an open heart and a desire to connect on a deeper level.

THE PHOTOGRAPHY

Experience

From the first email, my goal is to create an experience that feels calm, clear, and fully considered. We’ll talk about what matters most to you, not just the logistics, but the feeling you want to carry through the day. I’ll help shape a timeline that leaves space for presence, and support you in making choices that reflect what’s true to you.

On the day, I move quietly and intentionally, observing more than directing, blending in while staying deeply attuned to what’s unfolding. I’ll be exactly where I need to be, without interrupting what’s honest or important. Afterward, I’ll carefully curate your gallery to reflect the experience as it unfolded. What you receive won’t just show how it looked, it will bring you back to how it felt.

Her attention to detail and ability to capture the joyful, beautiful moments truly set her apart.
