Lauterbrunnen is a dream destination. Vast and expansive, with the town stretched below and snow dusted peaks in the distance. It’s one of those places that feels almost unreal. Quiet and breathtaking. Ashley and Caroline started with an intimate picnic, the air calm. They stayed close, moved slowly, and shared a kind of natural comfort that’s felt more than explained. They communicate love in the sweetest of ways. Quiet check-ins, brushing hair from each other’s faces, little laughs, an ease that feels deeply familiar. It was so easy to photograph them. 

Ashley, a photographer herself, wanted to weave that into their story, taking a few moments to photograph Caroline. When the light shifted and the wind picked up, clouds rolled through the valley and the energy changed. Caroline’s dress caught the air, bold and fluid, and my camera followed suit. And somehow, against all odds, it never rained. Truly, how lucky are we?
